Yes, it’s such a great town t it seems some can’t bear to leave, even when their time on earth has come to an end.  Just ask the young woman in a yellow dress, seen dining at the Robin’s Nest, the little girl who fell down the stairs at the Mount Holly Library and has been seen peeking around the corner when children’s’ programs are in progress, or the former firefighters (including fire dogs) still hanging out at Relief Firehouse.  Or ask the attention-starved ghosts at the Burlington County Prison Museum, featured on Sci-Fi channel’s Ghost Hunter show, who like to play pranks to get your attention, and who often show up on film! Meet them all on Friday, April 13!

The Haunted Holly Ghost Tour includes 9 haunted stops, proven to be haunted by South Jersey Ghost Research, professional paranormal researchers, and many stories of history and haunted events! The evening begins at 6:00 pm at the haunted Mt. Holly Library, 307 High Street with a presentation on ghost hunting by South Jersey Ghost Research. Tours then depart the museum for the haunted stroll every 15 minutes, beginning  at 7:00.  Tickets, $15 each, are required and it is advised that you purchase them in advance at Red, White and Brew, 33 High Street.  For further information, check out www.mainstreetmountholly.com Wear comfortable shoes; you’ll be walking with the dead for at least two hours!

The Saint Patrick’s Day Parade will be Saturday, March 3, 2012.  The parade will start at the Fairgrounds Plaza at 1:00pm and proceed down High Street onto Washington Street, and finish behind the Municipal Building.

High Street and the side streets will start being blocked off that morning at around 11:00am. The sections of Ridgley Street and Woodpecker Lane by the Fairgrounds Plaza will also be closed for traffic.
