Fire & Ice -2008 Highlights

Mount Holly showed they can put on another crowd pleasing event and provide parking, fun, food, chili, fire engine rides, dog sled races, rescue dogs, zoo animals, face painting, big bubbles, more chili, lumberjacks and revolutionary war re-enactors...all free to those attending.

Throughout the day as many as 10,000 people, possibly the events largest crowd, enjoyed the varied activities at this family friendly annual winter festival, "Fire & Ice".

Following sanctioned National Ice Carving Association  (NICA) judging and points rules, a rare Gold Medal was awarded to Rich Daly from Long Island for "The Guardian". The first place winner and a Silver medal and second place was earned by Mark McKenzie from NYC for "Butterfly on Sunflower".
