Directions to Mount Holly
Take Exit 47A off I-295 (or Exit 5 off the New Jersey Turnpike) to Route 541 south.
After three miles (two from the turnpike exit) keep going straight (the road is now High Street) instead of following the 541 ByPass that turns right at a Burger King. Follow specific directions below for the appropriate area.
Visitors: The closest parking to the Burlington County Prison Museum (one mile from the Burger King) is along High Street just before the Museum. Parking is also available in municipal lots west of High Street between Rancocas Road and Washington Street, and near the Colonial Forces camp in the Mill Race Village shopping district on Charles Street near Bispham Street.
Crown Forces Camp: There is very limited parking behind the Burlington County Prison Museum (one mile from the Burger King) off Grant Street. If that lot is full, park along High Street just before the Museum.
Sutlers: Sutlers and vendors will also be set up at the Burlington County Prison Museum, one mile from the Burger King. Turn right just before the museum onto Grant Street to park behind the museum (very limited parking here - if that lot is full, park along High Street just before the Museum).
Colonial Forces Camp: Continue past the Burger King and Old Prison Museum through the second traffic light (at High St and Washington St); we'll have
signs and/or people in Mill Race Village directing you where to park and set up.
If you're arriving late, you might want to avoid High Street and the crowds at the Prison Museum: turn right at the Burger King; then left at the first light onto Rancocas Road; then right at the first light onto King Street; then left at the first light onto Washington Street; then right onto Bispham Street and follow it into Monroe Street Park.
