OCTOBER 13, 6-11PM
1. Street Decorating- Usually 1-2 weeks prior to event.
2. Updating signage for event, installing cornstalks and other décor.
3. Costume Registration Booth (4 volunteers per shift)- 3 hour shifts
5-8pm & 8pm-11pm). Register contestants, collect registration fee
& assign number tags to participants.
4. Costume Contest Managers (3 volunteers needed) 3 hour shift from
7:30-10:30pm. Keep order in the contest line. Make sure participants
are properly spaced & have a registration number prior to walking
the red carpet.
5. Tarot Card Registration Booth (2 volunteers per shift)- 2.5 hour
shifts 5-7:30 & 7:30-10pm Collect fee and assign time slot for reading.
6. MSMH Information Booth (3 volunteers per shift)- 3 hour shifts
5-8pm & 8-11pm). Hand out event information
7. Judges Tent- manages judging area. Includes tent set up, contest
documents and refreshments for judges.
8. Town Crier Performer Liaison (2) MC (4) Spotlight Operator 2 needed
(7-11pm)
9. Theatrical Performers- various skills desired.

First Night “Year of
the Rat” Sculpture Opening- Exhibit Opens in Nov 5-8PM
Sculpture Transport from MSMH office to Commerce Bank (requires station
wagon, van or truck) Sponsor greeter- Greets event attendees and provides
information on sculptures and sponsorship opportunities
