A Taste of Mount Holly
This tour will include historical information about the town as you walk through the narrow streets. You’ll taste American cuisine and a few items with international flare. Think about digging into warm specialty grilled cheese sandwiches, a tasty trio of homemade soups, omelets made with farm fresh Jersey eggs, pancakes topped with apples and cinnamon, and delicious homemade ice cream. We did say that there would be a sprinkling of international flare, so the to-do-tasting-list includes a French-inspired gourmet sandwich and flat bread pizza. The tour will also consist of a sampling of alcoholic beverages. You’ll try a Mead, considered the oldest alcoholic beverage known to man. As you walk through two art galleries filled with contemporary art and various photographs, sample Valenzano wines from New Jersey orchards.
